How we verify platforms
Check the license
We identify the platform's claimed regulatory license and the body that issued it. Every platform must hold a valid authorization from an EU/EEA financial regulator.
Confirm the register
We verify the license directly against the regulator's official public register (AFM, BaFin, FCA, CySEC, CSSF, or ESMA).
Verify status
We check whether the license is active, whether there are any enforcement actions, and whether the platform's authorized services match what it offers.
Flag warnings
Platforms with active regulatory warnings, sanctions, or restrictions are clearly flagged. Affiliate links are automatically suspended for flagged platforms.
Our verification target is every 90 days. The verification date is displayed on each platform page.
What we check
License type and number
The specific authorization held by the platform and its registration number with the relevant regulator.
Regulatory jurisdiction
Which country's regulator issued the license and oversees the platform's operations.
Enforcement history
Whether the regulator has taken any enforcement actions against the platform, including fines or formal warnings.
Active warnings
Any current warnings, sanctions, or restrictions placed on the platform by regulatory authorities.
